our guide cleared off after going through the second security check. we were not sure where to go, we didn't have any guided information or ear phones. in the end we got fed up asking for help and went round on our own★

The hotel is very close to Rome Termini train station. There's a Chinese restaurant next door called Wangxianglou (or something similar), their boiled beef is pretty good. There's also a motorcycle rental shop; I have a license, so I rented a Vespa for 3 hours for 45 euros, it was a lot of fun.
The hotel is typical European style, the rooms are quite small, and the elevator is especially small. But the facilities are decent, and the cleanliness is acceptable.★
