Purchasing the JR Wide Pass through Trip.com is incredibly convenient. Previously, with other platforms, I had to go to the airport to pick up and exchange the pass, but now I can exchange it electronically and simply show my email address upon arrival in Japan. This is probably the only live-fire shooting range in Bangkok and Pattaya that offers sniper rifles. 3000+ HKD for 20 rounds is indeed a bit expensive, but given that other ranges don't offer this type of weapon or long-range shooting ranges, it's a rare find, which is understandable. I didn't have a rangefinder with me when I was shooting, but the target was set up on the opposite hilltop (steel gong target). According to the staff, the distance was 250 meters, and it looked about right, not too far. I chose a Barrett MRAD® SMR .308 caliber rifle. I mounted a NIGHTFORE NX8 4-32X50mm on the rifle. Since they had already preset the zero at the 250-meter target distance, I couldn't adjust the scope's tuners. I simply overlapped the crosshairs with the target. It was purely for feel and experience. Besides that, I also played with Smith & Weston .38 Special, Glock 19 9mm, .45 ACP pistols, and .12 gauge shotguns. Overall, the experience was quite good. I would definitely go again if I have the chance.


