The tour guide was amazing. This is the best way to tour Kampala, hands down. Being in the motorbike avoids traffic and you cover more destinations in a day.
Reviews: Safe Motorbike Tour in Kampala (Boda Boda Tour)

We took two Bodas and were impressed with both drivers as they negotiated the traffic clogged streets of Kampala. Jasper, a laid-back rastafarian, was the lead ride and weaved gracefully to our destinations. The palace and mosque are overpriced for what you get, but that's not their fault! The views from the minaret are spectacular, though. We ended with a 'rolex' at a local market, an omelette wrapped in a chapati, cheese, tomatos and onions. Delicious! We enjoyed Jasper's company so much that we got him to drive us to our next destination. Respect!

Today I went on a six-hour tour with the local and safe motorbike driver Mukili from Boda Boda Tours Kampala. A real adventure to explore the city on a motorbike. Mukili knows a lot about the history and special features of the city. He takes you to the city's most important sights and gives you an insight into this bustling city, which is more worth seeing than its reputation. I can highly recommend this tour to any traveller who wants to get a comprehensive impression of Kampala. Thank you Mukili for the exciting tour!
Reviews: Full Day Whitewater Rafting
Guest User2025-12-07
Today we spent a full day rafting with Nalubale. The day started with a brief explanation and receiving our life jackets. After that, we headed to the starting point. First, we received a one-hour training session on the water. We learned commands, how to safely get back onto the boat, and how to swim. We also learned how to use the safety kayak. There were three of us. There were three safety kayaks, one of which was for a photographer/videographer. There was also a guide on our raft, as well as a safety raft. There were kayaks surrounding us to guarantee our safety, which made us feel safe too. We got a taste of what was to come on a wave. You can always choose between easy, hard, and extreme. We always chose the hard one. The clear explanation made for a great first experience. Afterwards, we were given fresh fruit, cookies, and water to regain our strength for the actual rafting. In the middle of the Nile, we ate fruit with an amazing view. Then the real rafting began. On the first wave, level 5, we received clear instructions. We capsized but were immediately brought to safety by the safety kayaks. We never felt unsafe and we were out of the water super fast. We didn't panic because everything went quickly and safely. We were also constantly asked if everything was okay. We were encouraged several times while paddling. We also didn't have to paddle continuously ourselves, which allowed us to rest sufficiently. Afterwards, there were a few more waves. To end, we were offered lunch with hamburgers. This was a great experience. We enjoyed it immensely. All crew members are super friendly and helpful. We never felt unsafe a single time. We had a blast! We highly recommend this. The beautiful photos and videos we received will stay with us forever. We have a memory for life.

I booked this Kampala tour on the same morning after another agency cancelled my original plans. I was genuinely impressed by how quickly this team responded and organised everything — I was able to start the tour at 10am without any issues. Their efficiency and flexibility were greatly appreciated. The tour itself provided a good overview of Kampala as Uganda’s political, economic and cultural centre. Built across seven hills, the city feels layered and complex, and the itinerary captured that contrast well. We visited key landmarks such as the Independence Monument and the iconic Kampala sign, both important symbols of the country’s identity. Experiencing the taxi parks, bustling markets and street food scene — including the famous Rolex being prepared on hot pans — gave a real sense of the city’s energy. The movement, the sound, the rhythm of daily life all felt very authentic. In contrast, stepping inside the mosque offered a completely different atmosphere. Beneath sweeping arches and grand chandeliers, the filtered light and stillness provided a quiet moment away from the intensity of the streets. That juxtaposition really reflects Kampala itself — sacred and chaotic, traditional and modern, raw yet beautiful. Overall, this tour is a solid introduction to Uganda’s capital, and I especially commend the agency for their fast organisation and professionalism under short notice.
