Highlights

Our guide is a local with extensive knowledge of the Douro Valley and its wines.
The wine tasting takes place at a centuries-old estate, featuring wines dating back to 1858.
You will visit small Portuguese producers, away from mass tourism.
Itinerary
Our aim is to offer a unique cultural experience for lovers of wine and the work of Miguel Torga. It all begins in Régua, where, in the morning, we will set off on a journey to a local winery.

Here, you will have the opportunity to taste 5 wines, visit a traditional local estate, and learn a little more about the work of the people who gave the Douro its name.

This will be followed by a visit to the São Leonardo de Galafura Belvedere viewpoint, a renowned spot in the region offering a spectacular view of the entire Douro Valley.

Accompanied by our guides at all times, you will then travel to a local family estate where lunch will be served. You can expect a traditional lunch featuring typical Portuguese dishes.

After lunch, we will embark on a cruise down the Douro River, sailing between Régua and the town of Pinhão.
Régua and the town of Pinhão. Here, you can enjoy one of the most picturesque landscapes in the Douro region.

The estimated time of arrival back at the Pinhão dock is 5:00 PM. After some free time to explore the area, you will then enjoy a delightful train ride along the riverbank.

Get ready for a magnificent journey filled with stunning landscapes and authentic Douro flavors!

IMPORTANT NOTE: From November to March, the Douro dams are closed to navigation, making it impossible to take the boat-train route between Régua and Pinhão. During this period, the trip will be replaced by a 1-hour Rabelo boat ride in Pinhão, which will still allow you to enjoy the beauty of the Douro Valley and the river (Departure at 3:30 pm from the Pinhão quay and return at 4:30 pm to the same location).
The train departs from Pinhão train station at 5:15 p.m. and is expected to arrive at Régua train station at 5:41 p.m.)
