Very good tour, we booked it last minute and it was readily available to us. Our guide, Saad was very helpful in keeping us safe and making sure that all the things (ferry ride, train ride, and the way to the cave) were all going easy and smooth. The cave was really amazing and the history behind it was told clearly and easily understood. Totally recommend!★

I really loved that day! Arriving at 4 am with a 24 hrs overlay did give me the option to book the full day tour and it worked out great. I liked Elephanta but I loved the slum tour and especially Dawood. He was a great guy, funny, interesting way of showing me around and personalized the experience by taking me on a train. He shortened some things like walking around in the gardens or slum and I was so thankful as I became tiered (after flying over 22hrs). If I could book him again I would!! He’s local to the slum and met many people and made me feel comfortable there. Also a big thank you for haggling the mangos on the market for me. Krupesh on Elephanta was also very knowledgeable and had very cool picture ideas. I love him but if I would have read before that the ferry takes 1 hrs each way I might have skipped it. Overall: I’d do it again! Thanks also to my driver who was nice and already explained a lot on the drive.★

Sufiyan was an amazing guide and took great care of us throughout the tour. I really liked how the food trip involved a lot of walking and even taking the local train — it actually made us hungrier and able to enjoy more food.
What I appreciated most was that he didn’t just talk about the food. He shared deep cultural insights about traditions, daily life, and local history. It felt much more meaningful than just eating.
My favorite part was when he took us to the seaside. The atmosphere was beautiful, the food was delicious, and we got to sit on a mat and eat just like the locals — it felt very authentic.
After that, he brought us to a market where everything was happening all at once. It was busy and intense, but it gave us the real Indian vibe. We ate so much, and the tour ended perfectly with a very delicious ice cream.★

Ms. Pooja did a great job as our tour guide, was always available to answer questions, and explained everything very well. She was punctual and everything went perfectly. The tour was very interesting and she spoke good English.
