Downtown Los Angeles Historic & Modern Tour

The tour will be led by an architect that knows the in depth history of downtown Los Angeles. Get to know the full history of downtown Los Angeles, ranging from the glory days of the Roaring Twenties up to now. You will learn about all of the history from then to now as well as get to go up the tallest skyscrapers west of the Mississippi of the United States. We will have a quick tea/coffee while sitting down at the exclusive City Club to go over any questions of the local area we just visited while taking in views at Aperture, City Club's exclusive restaurant. Be prepared for some walking and make sure to wear pants (no destroyed denim) and close toed shoes as entry to City Club, Los Angeles Athletic Club and US Bank Tower are strict in these regards. These are all exclusive venues that I have access to and you will not find this opportunity for this kind of tour with a local architect anywhere! Enjoy!

5. 51st Floor City Club at City National Plaza (coffee/tea break and chat)

8. MOCA (Exterior architecture tour)

10. Walt Disney Concert Hall (Full exterior architecture tour)
