Reviews: 1-day tour to Hallstatt from Vienna, Austria (optional cruise)
Guest User2025-07-03
The whole group is English communication, and the key information such as what time to get on the bus, etc. is very clear. There will be some small souvenirs after the end. The only suggestion is that when you arrive at Harstadt, if you don't want to see the town from the high-altitude perspective, don't take the cable car, because it takes physical strength and time to climb high. It is recommended to play for two hours on the side of the church. The human bone church also has a Chinese introduction sheet. Overall it is very good, I have played Vienna, and it will feel good to come here again.

It was a great trip, stopped off a few times on the way for bathroom and food, and when we got there it was an awesome experience and we were given plenty of time to explore, our tour guide Alexander was great at explaining all the history along the way and we are very thankful for our experience.

Reviews: Hallstatt day tour in Austria|Fairytale Town|Alps scenic view|Salzburg round-trip
Guest User2025-09-18
This half day tour is a great and convenient way to visit Hallstat. It is of course more expensive than taking the train or public bus+ferry to get to Hallstat, but it is certainly a time-saver. It's essentially a direct bus trip to Hallstat with a bit of commentary of interesting places that we passed and some history. Once you reached Hallstat, you will go around on your own for about 2.5 hours and the bus will come to pick up at a certain time. The 1.5 hours ride is comfortable and there's a power point at your seat if you need to charge your phone.
Reviews: Eurail Global Train Pass [Official Agent/Issuance of Tickets Immediately/Travel in 33 European Countries/Cross-border Use, Unlimited Times]
Guest User2026-01-18
I'm a European exchange student living in Germany. Knowing that I could conveniently travel to other countries by train, I purchased a Eurail Pass. At the time, there was a promotional discount of about 20%, so I got it for about €100 less. I was very satisfied with the price. I could choose to use 15 days within two months, which was incredibly convenient. I highly recommend it.
Reviews: Vienna: Hallstatt Guided Tour with Hotel Pickup & Drop-off

I highly recommend this tour to everyone who is interesting in the history of Hallstatt and wants to enjoy stunning views! The transportation was very comfortable, we got free water and some sweets from a guide and also had 3 hours to enjoy the city without any rush.
