Me and my family took an army duck tour last sunday and we had a really good time. We would like to compliment your new guide Mark. He had really good and interesting comments about nature and wildlife that made the tour fun and enjoyable. We also loved other activities in Kuranda, like the Pamagirri Aboriginal experience. We learned how to throw a boomerang and we enjoyed the presentation of Aboriginal coulture. The scenic Railway had some really good views and the train to Cairns was most enjoyable. We had a great experience on The Skyrail on 17th June, travelling up and back to Kuranda. Staff were professional, friendly & knowledgeable. The views were amazingly spectacular over the rainforest and the Barron River & Falls. 2 stops along the way at Red Peak and then Barron Falls which enabled us to get out and follow the decking & read the info and enjoy the view & take photos. Couldn’t have been better. A great experience. Having done the train and Skyrail over the years, my suggestion is to go up on The Skyrail and come back on the train.★

The main reason for the trip was to see the scenery, but the helicopter ride was incredibly hot and humid, and we spent an hour in the sun. We also didn't see the legendary heart-shaped reef, which was quite disappointing. The speedboat ride was just a bit windy. The only worthwhile part was the view from the white sand beach viewpoint; climbing up was tiring but incredibly beautiful.
A special reminder: the sea conditions here are complex. Two people were swept away by waves while swimming that day, and we later saw them receiving CPR, which was very distressing. Please, please don't blindly go into the water. Enjoy the scenery; your life is the most important thing!★

Amazing experience, with a relatively small group of travelers and a large crew. Being in an uninhabited island and snorkeling was preciousless. Bus and boats transfer went smoothly and efficiently. Recommended
