Note that it's more expensive to buy on trip.com vs buying on the counter itself but it might be more convenient given it's denominated in local currency. It's very worth it to buy the card since the attractions covered more than offset the cost of the card. Note you need to go tourist info counter to collect the salzburg card which will be activated only after you visited your first attraction★

I enjoyed this. We had glorious weather so we could really enjoy things. Fun tour with a number of the main locations from the Sound of Music. The lakes were lovely.★

As a huge Sound of Music fan, traveling to Salzburg and seeing the sites where the movie was filmed has been a bucket list item for me. The Original Sound of Music Tour did not disappoint. The credit for this exceptional experience goes to our tour guide (I believe his name was Peter). I loved his humor in his descriptions and especially in his behind the scenes stories. I will never forget his leading us in singing on the bus, especially his acting out of Do, Re, Mi. He was fantastic, and I feel very fortunate he was our guide. In a perfect world, we would have done the Sound of Music tour in the morning while the sun was out, and the Salt Mines tour in the afternoon when it was raining!About
