Reviews: CULTURAL & HISTORIC DAY TOUR ATTRACTIONS - Churches, Temples & Spice Plantation

I had a great experience with a private tour guide Socorro who explained the history of Goa and showed me all the important sights. I particularly enjoyed the spice plantation. The lunch was great and I loved smelling all the different spice plants!
Reviews: The Cultural And Historical Walking Tour in Margao

Walking through Goa’s cultural lanes with Rajat from Soul Travelling felt like time travel. Stories, hidden histories, local traditions, and forgotten corners came alive with every step. More than a walk, it was a soulful connection to Goa’s heritage, people, and timeless spirit.

Adolfina was a great tour guide. We were shown the Fontainas, sample lovely pastries and a local person welcomed us into their home which was an amazingexperience.
Reviews: Private Tour of Butterfly Sanctuary and Spice Plantation
Guest User2023-12-01
The Butterfly Conservatory of Goa was an unforgettable and magical place! We saw a handful of different butterflies and had the chance to see India’s largest butterfly, Golden Birdwing. My family and I also saw 2 giant spiders! Our guide was very sweet and shared his story of he and his wife began this place over a decade ago. The facility also features a display of gemstones along with a box full of them which one can mix and match to purchase. The Tropical Spice Plantation came with a warm welcoming when passing through the bridge by means of having flowers tossed at us. It was delightful and we were given a lemongrass & ginger tea before our tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the different spices we saw! To conclude the tour she gave us each a lavender oil drip down our backs to cool us off and promote a feeling of relaxation. There’s a cute small shop to purchase spices, oil, honey, and other natural handmade products for sale, so be sure to make a pitstop there! Just before leaving my family and I enjoyed an array of buffet style Indian cuisine. I highly recommend this tour!
Reviews: Chandor Heritage Trail by Make It Happen
Guest User2026-01-08
Loved this tour! I’m from Goa but I did not know much about Chandor and its history. I learnt so much, this is a knowledge heavy history tour! Pawan was insightful and passionate about the storytelling, which adds a lot to the narrative. One suggestion for anyone taking this tour, bring enough water and a couple snacks to keep yourself energised for 2.5-3.5 hours. Even though the tour is 2.5 hours, conversations with one of the hosts stretched our tour to 3.5 hours. It was great to be able to speak at length with the descendants of the heritage homes, especially since I am a history lover. Overall, an insightful and knowledgeable experience.
