The tour was exactly what we were looking for – not too short, but not too long either. Perfect for traveling with a small child (5 years old)! We saw the most important sights; you could certainly spend more time there, but whether that's necessary is up to you. Our guide, Ramadan, and driver, Mussa, were very, very nice. Ramadan spoke excellent German, which he was happy to use! If there were any minor communication problems, we switched to English. We were very satisfied. Pick-up was at 9:00 AM and we were back at 2:00 PM! The drive took about an hour each way to and from the Neptune Pwani Beach Resort!★

We had the most amazing time with Khaled and Abdullah. It was a jam packed day with 5 different activities and they were very flexible. The activities were spectacular, especially snorkeling and the Rock Restaurant which were very picturesque. Abdul is amazing, so friendly and knowledgeable. It's a MUST if you don't have a lot of time in Zanzibar!! ★

The visit was pleasant.
The Red Colobus Monkeys are the main attraction — an endemic species found only in Zanzibar, known for their reddish fur and their habit of moving through the treetops.
They are very entertaining, well accustomed to visitors, and can be seen from very close range.
We also explored the mangroves.
Although we didn’t do the longer tour, it was enough to get a good sense of the local biodiversity.
The guide was also friendly and informative.
