We drove a long distance on the highway to Meteora. The local guide provided good explanations, and visiting each monastery was enjoyable. It is a place where you need to carefully consider the distance and time before visiting. While the scenery and the monastery visits were good, I consider the 5-euro entrance fee for each monastery, and even the 1-euro charge for the restrooms, to be a rip-off for tourists.

100% recommend this trip!!! Our tour guide Maria was so friendly and knowledgeable. We got to know other travelers in our group from all over the world. Lunch was a full meal from a delicious restaurant. The bus was very comfortable. We got ample time to unload from the bus and take pictures at the best photo spots. Cannot recommend enough!

Fun! Just a bit hard sometimes, but with the help of our awesome guide it went smoothly, although one fall in the water. Lots of animals, beautifull nature and our guide knows a lot and shared his knowledge. Trip was great! Even included a big sandwich.


