The Bergen UNESCO Fjord Cruise was an unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of my trip to Norway.
The scenery is simply breathtaking. Cruising through the UNESCO-listed fjords, surrounded by towering cliffs, and cascading waterfalls.
The boat itself was comfortable and well-organized, with plenty of space to move around and enjoy the views from both inside and outside decks. The large windows were a great touch, especially when it got a bit chilly outside.
What really stood out was how peaceful and immersive the whole journey felt. Gliding through such dramatic natural landscapes gave a true sense of Norway’s beauty and scale.
Overall, the Bergen UNESCO Fjord Cruise is a must-do if you’re visiting the area. This operator is a good choice and the guide was also interactive and conversed well in English.★

Reviews: Guided tour - Viking Village, Nærøyfjord Cruise and Flåm Railway

This full-day tour was truly one of a kind and encompassed so many of Norway's incredible features. The Viking Village was not on my list of destinations when I planned my trip, I just thought it would be cool since it was a part of the tour, and it was incredible! Very informative learning about Viking history and culture, and debunking common myths or 'Hollywood' ideologies. There is also the opportunity to participate in Archery and Axe throwing which were very fun. We then moved onto the Fjord cruise, the boat was HUGE with plenty of room for everyone, and designed extremely well so its suitable for all ages and abilities. The views were spectacular. Once off the boat we boarded the Flam railway, although it wasn't very snowy like usual the scenery was still beautiful and I felt like I could have been in the Polar Express. There was snow passed about 700m (Myrdal top station sits about 860m) and the station at Myrdal was covered with snow. Train and bus ride back into Bergen was very relaxing after a long day. Overall could not recommend this trip enough, worth every cent in my opinion.★

The winding roads and high altitudes offered unparalleled views, making every twist and turn an adventure in itself.
Fjord Cruise
Upon reaching Bergen, we embarked on a Fjord Cruise—a must-do for anyone visiting Norway. This cruise was the highlight of our trip, showcasing the raw power and beauty of nature. As we glided through the fjords, surrounded by towering cliffs and cascading waterfalls, we were reminded of how small we are in comparison to the majestic natural world. The fjord cruise is truly a one-of-a-kind experience that leaves a lasting impression.
Rail Trip Back to Bergen
To balance our day trip, we took the rail back to Bergen. This leg of the journey provided a different but equally captivating perspective of Norway. The train ride allowed us to relax and enjoy the scenery from a comfortable vantage point, showcasing Norway's diverse landscapes and charming countryside. It was a perfect way to conclude our trip, offering a comprehensive view of what Norway has to offer.
