Despite our lateness, they were welcoming and lovely throughout the entire service. We left with photos and wonderful memories for my grandmother. Thank you to the whole team!

Reviews: Private Gourmet Tour : Halles Paul Bocuse Covered Market
Guest User2025-07-15
The Les Halles de Lyon Paul Bocuse is incredible. It is a clean, modern, efficient enterprise that showcases the highest quality foods. And even better, we had Clarie as our food guide and she was extremely well organized and presents her material seamlessly. She is warm, witty, clever, and has so much knowledge. We loved how she was able to teach us so fascinating things while keeping things light and playful. It is one of the best food tours we have had, and we have had many. We highly recommend Claire and a visit to this incredible food market.

Reviews: Lyon City Card: Public Transport & More Than 40 Attractions
Guest User2026-01-30
If its your first time in old Lyon I would not spend money on this. There is so much to see and do without going in any museums. We visited two churches, wandered inside a hospice, strolled through gardens and lingered in squares. We also ate lunch. We did loads of walking so didnt use any public transport, except forthe funicular. There was a big wheel in Bellecour which we were able to use our card-thus saving 9 euros. We also had a wonderful view over Lyon next to Fourvier church and nearby over the Roman theatres. My advice is to buy the card the second time you visit (when you have got your bearings) and plan your museum visits. If its raining it would be very useful to use public transport too. Lady in the Tourist Info on Bellecour was very helpful and provided us with maps.
