Reviews: San Jose: Bites and Sights Walking Food Tour including Markets
Guest User2024-08-23
This was a great way to try local and seasonal fruits and ice cream while visiting the markets. Our guide Oscar was very informative and kept the pace casual. I really enjoyed the time we spent at Mr. Sloth Cafe trying and making the different foods, then the demonstration by Eric of the coffee making process.

It’s a great way to see the city and our guide was great. It’s not a private tour so expect to share the van with others
Reviews: Dolphin and Whale Watching Tour in Drake Bay as seen on National Geographic

Very nice crew! We learnt a lot from them about the whales. They also tried to show as a lot as possible but also with the respect to the animals. Tasty food on the boat :) highly recommended!!
Reviews: Rafting Pacuare River One Day from Turrialba
Guest User2025-10-26
We spent six hours on the river with Adrenalina. It was an unforgettable experience. From booking and transportation to the tour itself, everything went perfectly. Manfred contacted us early via WhatsApp to clarify the details. Ariel, our guide, has been working for Adrenalina for 11 years and knows the river like the back of his hand. He had the boat completely under control and performed maneuvers with us that probably not every guide would/could do. Our kids (12 and 14) had the time of their lives. We always felt safe. The scenery is breathtakingly beautiful. We saw many birds, blue morphos, and even a sloth. About halfway through, we stopped at a waterfall where we could swim. For a snack, we had what was probably the sweetest pineapple we've ever eaten. Daniel accompanied us in a kayak, took lots of cool photos, and ensured our safety. The photos could be purchased at the end for $60.00 per boat. This was quite expensive, but it could be shared with the other boat members. Once we arrived at our destination, we could shower and enjoy a delicious Costa Rican meal while viewing the photos on a large screen. A super cool experience that we can 100% recommend. PURA VIDA!
