Reviews: Akureyri Port: Goðafoss and the Forest Lagoon Tour
Guest User2025-09-14
our guide Sieggy, was great! a native of Akureyri and gave us lots of local info. the Forest Lagoon was so relaxing and we had plenty of time to spend there. we also got the option of being taken back to the ship or let off in town to explore. we explored and walked back to the ship (about 10 mins). Beautiful area, really enjoyed it.

Guide was very informative. Lunch was excellent and Whale trip was good. Crampons essential. Fortunately we brought ours.

I loved everything. The guide and driver were excellent. I loved hearing him sing. I would have liked to stay a little longer at the solfataras. A magnificent excursion. Always a bit pricey for the French, but unmissable. Thank you.

We had a great experience, Siggi, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and had lots of experience in not only spotting the lights, but choosing the best places to find them. Definetely coming back again!

This was the highlight of my trip! Baldur from Fox Adventures was a fantastic guide—funny, interesting, and full of great stories. We saw the stunning Goðafoss and Lake Mývatn at a very relaxed pace. Baldur even went above and beyond by stopping at a supermarket to help us navigate the Icelandic candy aisle for souvenirs! 10/10 experience.
