This is a very convenient pass. It pays for itself with a single roundtrip from Osaka or Kyoto to Miyajima/Hiroshima. Please note that the Osaka-Kyoto-Osaka section is not included in this pass, as this section of the Shinkansen is part of the Tokaido Line. However, the pass includes many express and regular trains on this section, so the journey can easily be completed in 20-30 minutes, depending on the time of day.

We had a wonderful experience with Junpei and Kanazawa tours ! We asked Junpei to include Gokoyama in the tour if possible although it was not listed in the itinerary, he happily obliged. We ended up covering all the locations and he also gave us recommendation on which points to not miss etc! Highly recommend Kanazawa tours !

We really enjoyed this trip. Our guide (s), Daniel (and Liam) were great, as was our friendly and excellent driver. Daniel told us about the villages we visited and the things we saw and was great at answering our questions. We were very lucky to have a snowy day and felt privileged to visit Inami and Gokayama in particular, as both had very few visitors. The paper making experience was also very enjoyable. Definitely recommend.


