John is a perfect guide for learning about Minca’s biodiversity while visiting the coffee and cocoa finca. He explains everything clearly and encourages you to ask questions. The stop at the waterfalls is a welcome relief from the humidity, with the chance to take a dip in cool, clear water. Take swimwear (not included within the what to take list so I didn’t and missed out swimming). I would highly recommend this tour.★

One of the best tours I ever did. This tour is super informative, Gustavo was a super guide, passionate about what he does and the environment. We were given lots of information about bamboo, many different plants and of course how coffee and chocolate is made. We went to a beautiful waterfall (but be careful because it’s not as deep as it seems!). The lunch was so delicious and the biodiversity session and chocolate session were fun too (but maybe set your expectations that you won’t be creating a chocolate bar as such, more of a chocolate lump but fun and delicious regardless! Best value for sure, would recommend it.★

Andres was an excellent tour guide and was so knowledgeable about the history of Santa Marta. He was also very easy going and fun to spend the day with.
We first walked around the historic Old Town. He first walked us thru the gold museum explaining the importance of gold to the region. We then went to the Cathedral, the City Square and he even showed us the oldest Hostel in the city.
We then drove to the suburbs to visit the Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, which was the house of the hacienda that was lent to Simon Bolivar in 1830. He was the liberator of Columbia and several other South American countries. He spent his final days there and passed away there. The house and grounds are a memorial to him and the area was beautiful.
All in all it was a great trip and I highly recommend this tour and Andres!★
