The company organized the whole program very well. We were satisfied. The weather were a bit rough therefore the sea had big waves. It meant that my husband and boys had "sea sickness". But it was our mistake not to check hydrofoil means. This kind of ferries are more expensive, the road to the destination is shorter but these kind of sheeps are more sensitive with bigger waved that can causes sea-sickness easier than an average ferry. But the crewcwas helpful and everything was good with them.:) After 10 minutes from the end of the road , my husband became healthy again.:)

Navigating Pompeii and Vesuvius are not straight-forward. Our driver Lucia was very professional, prompt and made sure all our transfers (including Vesuvius which is a very disorganized site!) when smoothly. She took care of ensuring our tickets were in hand, gave perfect instructions to navigate each site and was waiting in the perfect places as we came out. Our guide for Pompeii was Anna and she was fantastic - got us through the lines and navigated well in front of or behind all the large tour groups with precision! She knew all of their moves and because there were not tons of tourists there, I got so many pictures with either no one or few people in the shots! Anna was also incredibly knowledgeable about the site and gave us great insights on the history and art that decorates the site - she came prepared too with a bag full of books with illustrations and drawings that helped hus understand what we were looking at. It was a very thoughtful (she even helped us find water to purchase before and after the tour!) and full agenda. No way we would have had the same experience in a large tour. Pay the extra money for the private experience - it is well worth it!

Our guide (Miriam) was very personable, charismatic, and informative throughout the tour. She took us through the Montecalvario neighborhood where we got to experience Naples in a unique way. Wine, smoked mozzarella, good conversation, plenty of photos, and smiles on our faces as we ended the tour.


