Throughout the trip, our team will be available to answer any questions about the city and the region.

Stop at Caldeira de Troia
Duration: 120 to 350 minutes (this time is managed according to the customer's wishes)
Caldeira de Tróia & Roman Ruins are a must-see destination, where you can enjoy the best of nature and history in total tranquility. Enjoy the Sado River Nature Reserve with its deserted and intimate beaches, surrounded by a landscape of wild beauty, ideal for relaxing or for those who like to explore and go on adventures.
At the entrance to the Caldeira, you will find the historic Chapel of Nossa Senhora do Rosário de Tróia, located next to the imposing Roman Ruins of Tróia, a National Monument steeped in history. This complex, dating from between the 1st and 6th centuries AD, was an important center for the production of fish preparations and a prosperous Roman urban settlement. The region, set in a dune landscape, was probably an island in Roman times, which makes a visit even more fascinating. If you wish, you can explore this legacy with the help of an expert guide by requesting a guided tour ticket or just a free entry ticket (additional costs) paid at the ticket office at the ruins. For nature lovers, the Caldeira and Pinhal Trail offers a unique experience. During the walk, you can observe the rich biodiversity of the region, from water birds such as sandpipers and herons to the ancient dunes covered with maritime pines and manso trees. Be sure to ask for a map of the trail to explore this natural paradise even further, ensuring a comfortable and safe trip so you can make the most of every moment of this unique experience.

Return by boat to the Fontainhas Recreational Dock, Setúbal
Duration: 20 minutes
After your leisure time at Caldeira & Roman Ruins, it's time to return to Setúbal at the scheduled time. Boarding will be comfortable at the designated meeting point for a peaceful return. During the trip, you can relax and admire once again the natural surroundings of the Tróia Peninsula from a different perspective, as the Sado River and the Arrábida Mountains slowly fade away.
