Gastronomic Kakheti
We will visit the village of Manavi, where you will taste aromatic Georgian wines. You will also visit a local entrepreneur who will treat you to homemade churchkhela, pastila, honey and delicious mulled wine. The gastronomic adventures will not end there! On the way, we will stop to see how Kakhetian lavash is baked in a clay oven on wood and, if you wish, we will participate in the process. In addition, we will have a mini-picnic with hot bread, homemade cheese and other farm delicacies.
Sighnaghi, Telavi and Bodbe Monastery
Sighnaghi is a "city of love" in the style of southern Italian classicism. You will walk along the ancient fortress wall surrounding it, enjoying the views of the Alazani Valley. Look at the mighty watchtowers and uncover their history. Visit the Basilica of St. Nino in the Bodbe Convent and take a photo against the backdrop of the Wedding Palace, where marriages are registered at any time of the day. We will not ignore the capital of Kakheti - the small town of Telavi, where Mimino never got through. You will make a wish at a 900-year-old tree and stop by for a tasting in a wine cellar.
