1-Day Walking Tour in Sapporo: Historical Sights of Sapporo

Explore Sapporo's most famous landmarks, including the Sapporo Clock Tower, the Sapporo TV Tower, and the 2jo Fish Market. Enjoy a sake tasting in the entertainment district of Susukino.

Meet your guide at Sapporo Station and head to the Sapporo Clock Tower. Learn about the oldest clock tower in Japan, which is of American design and is one of a few western-style buildings left in Sapporo.

Visit the quaint little museum on the 1st floor before heading to the 2nd floor to see the inner workings of the clock and how gravity works to keep time.

Next, walk to the nearby Sapporo TV Tower, which was built in 1957 and stands 147.2 meters tall. Head up to the top observation deck where you can enjoy spectacular 360-degree daytime views of the entire city of Sapporo.
