Reviews: Sal island : Full day excursion Salinas, Shark Bay, Blue Eye
Guest User2026-01-15
A very full day generally well managed that ran smoothly. Saw everything I wanted to, and enjoyed the energy of the guides, very good tour guides. Perhaps a bit more information could be given at each stop to explain how much time we had and what was on the agenda, but that’s a minor point. I would recommend this tour but if you want to spend a bit longer at any of the sites, for example the salt flats or seeing the lemon sharks, you might be better off doing those separately to give yourself longer to enjoy those activities. For the price, a good excursion, thank you!

Reviews: Sal Island: 4x4 Off-Road Quad Tour with a Local Guide
Guest User2026-03-02
Fantastic experience with the kids on the side-by-side. Andy, our guide, was great and speaks excellent French. We were able to stop near the zipline, at the salt flats, and at Shark Bay where we saw baby sharks for €3 per person, shoes included. The ride is very dynamic, so wear clothes you don't mind getting dusty. πŸ˜ƒ The equipment is good (they even came to replace a side-by-side mid-ride because it had a steering problem), and the team is very friendly. This isn't an experience you'd have in France, driving at full speed along the coast! Go for it and have a great time!

Reviews: Sal Island: 4x4 Off-Road Buggy Ride with a Local Guide
Guest User2026-03-04
We were picked up 30 mins before proposed start time and contacted directly by the driver. Bus was a bit rickety but fine to get us to the 4x4 base. Safety briefing was rapid, dust scarfs purchased and then we were off! The 4x4's were great fun to drive and the route was mostly off road, very dusty and bouncy as you would expect - I really enjoyed it, my partner less so as doesn't like speed or discomfort! My helmet was a bit tight but I've a big head!!! Didn't spend very long at each stop (3 overall) and then a long drive back to the start point. All in the trip lasted the 3 hours as expected and I really enjoyed the driving and a chance to see different bits of the Island - even if it was a bit samey. We actually went back to Shark Bay on a separate, specific trip but didn't see anything we didn't get to on this trip so on that basis alone the 4x4 trip was well worth it! Made for much more fun than laying by the pool getting sunburnt!

Reviews: The Museum of Flight Entrance Ticket
Guest User2024-08-28
What a great aviation museum! We visited on a rainy Saturday and despite the large number of people it never felt crowded. When we arrived we were greeted by one of the museum volunteers, Keith. He was very friendly, helpful and eager to tell us all about the museum and which displays were located in which parts of the facility and explained the map/brochure in detail. The facility is well laid out and has a good balance of airplanes on display, an entire section on space travel, as well as a few interactive displays that are great for aviation enthusiasts of all ages. We really enjoyed the aircraft that were displayed outside (open air, but covered so you stay out to the rain) and had fun being able to see the interior of a B747, B787, Air Force One and a retired Concorde. For us, it was worth the price of admission. Discounts are available on the entrance fee, see details on their website. They offer a AAA discount and offered the same discount with our CAA card.
