Start at the bustling Miyagawa Morning Market, where fresh fruits and vegetables, Hida snacks, and handmade crafts create a vibrant, down-to-earth atmosphere that soothes the soul. Slowly walk to Sakurayama Hachiman Shrine. The stone steps are serene, ancient trees reach for the sky, and a gentle breeze sends cherry blossoms fluttering down, so quiet you can only hear your own footsteps. Descend the mountain and walk along the Miyagawa River. Cherry blossoms drift on the water, landing on your shoulders.
