How to use
The actual steps may vary depending on the OS version and device model.
 
[Install eSIM]
*Each QR Code can only be used on one device. Once installed, the eSIM will be bound to that device and cannot be transferred to another.
 
In-app Installation for iOS (not available on Android):
Please ensure your Trip.com App is updated to the latest version and your iPhone system is upgraded to iOS 17.4 or higher. You can then install the eSIM directly within the App. Open the Trip.com App > Go to Account > All Bookings > Tap the “Install” button.
 
Scan QR code/Manually enter eSIM information to install:
1. Open the QR code attachment from the order in the Trip.com app, and print it in advance or save it to another electronic device. (iOS 17 and above systems can directly save it to the phone)
6. Open "Cellular Network (iOS)" or "SIM Card Management (Android)" in Settings.
7. While the phone is connected to the internet, click "Add eSIM" and scan the QR code to install.
8. If you can't scan the code, enter the "SM-DP+Address and Activation Code" from the order receipt to install.
9. If steps 3/4 fail, your phone may be locked by the home carrier (unable to use other carrier networks). Contact the carrier to unlock it before using eSIM.
 
[Using eSIM]
1. Turn off the primary SIM card and turn on the eSIM network switch.
2. Enable "Cellular Network (iOS)" or "SIM Card (Android)".
3. Turn on "Data Roaming".
4. If you still cannot connect to the internet after the above settings, set the APN and restart. See the information below for details.
 
[About APN]
1. If you purchase an eSIM that covers multiple countries/regions, and you cannot connect to the internet upon arrival in a new area, please manually switch the APN (it should switch automatically under normal conditions).
2. Setting Path:
iOS: Settings > Cellular Data > Cellular Data Network > Enter APN Details
Android: Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Access Point Names(APN) > Edit APN or Add APN

If you encounter any issues during use, please do not delete the installed eSIM. Provide your order number and screenshots of your phone settings to our customer support team, and we will offer prompt assistance.
Change & cancellation policies
If a cancellation request is submitted before 12:00 AM, 1 day(s) prior to the expiration date, no cancellation fee will be charged.
If a cancellation request is submitted after 12:00 AM 1 day(s) before the expiration date, a fee of 100% will be charged.
Cancellation is not allowed once the product is activated.
If a discount is applied, the cancellation fee will be calculated based on the original price before the discount and will not exceed the amount paid.
Partial refund is not available.
Important note

[Turkey usage requires eSIM installation before departure]

Please make sure to download and install the eSIM before departure. Due to Turkish policies, you may be unable to download or install the eSIM after arrival in Turkey because of local network restrictions.


[Usage Instructions for Renewal]

*Renewal orders are only applicable to the device bound to the original order and do not support device changes. If you need to switch devices, please do not purchase a renewal order.

• When the data allowance of the original order is exhausted, you can click the "Renew" button on the original order page to purchase a renewal order. The renewed plan and validity period will be automatically added to the original order.

• If the original eSIM has not been deleted from the device, there is no need to reinstall the eSIM, and the renewed data allowance can be used directly.


[Rules for Renewal Order Activation]

Day Pass/Data Package: After the data allowance of the original order is used up, the internet speed will be reduced, but the renewed data will only be automatically activated after the original plan's coverage period ends. If you need to terminate the original order plan early and activate the renewed data, please contact customer support.


[Disable Domestic SIM Card Roaming]

Before using an eSIM, make sure to turn off data roaming on your domestic SIM card to avoid incurring high international roaming charges. You will be responsible for any related fees, including roaming charges, overseas SIM card/eSIM purchase costs, and transportation expenses. No additional compensation will be provided.

To maintain network quality and the Fair Usage Policy (FUP), telecommunications companies may throttle users who consume large amounts of data within a short period, leading to slower speeds or inability to connect. To ensure stable internet access, please avoid activities that consume excessive data, such as prolonged video streaming/downloading, software updates, or sharing your network (hotspot).

How to solve eSIM hotspot issues? What can I do if my eSIM's hotspot is not working?

Due to varying phone models, if your eSIM supports hotspot functionality but cannot use it, try the following:
1. Check if your phone is a contract or locked device
2. Ensure any VPNs are disabled
3. Make sure to turn on data roaming
4. Check if the eSIM is set as the primary device
5. Update your phone to the latest version
6. Use a physical SIM for internet, enable hotspot sharing (ensure it's available), then switch to eSIM without turning off the hotspot. Repeat this process several times, including restarting your phone several times.
7. If none of the above work, contact customer support

What can I do if I lost my eSIM installation QR code? I am experiencing a "This code is no longer valid" error.

Where can I find the EID and IMEI on my phone?

The EID functions as a digital signature that links devices to mobile networks, typically comprising 32 characters, which include both letters and numbers. The IMEI, or International Mobile Equipment Identity, serves as a unique identifier for your phone and is generally 15 digits long.
For iPhones, you can find your EID and IMEI by going to "Settings" > "General" > "About" > EID/IMEI. Another quick way to find your EID and IMEI is by dialing *#06#, which will display a screen with your device information.
For Samsung phones, go to "Settings" > "About Phone" > "Status Information" > IMEI/EID

How do I activate a renewal?

For total volume-based eSIMs, the renewal will automatically activate after the first plan has been completely used up. You don't need to scan the code again for installation. Once the first plan is used up, refresh the network, wait a few minutes, and it will automatically renew for you.
For daily-based eSIMs: The renewal booking will automatically activate after the days covered by the first booking's package have used up. You don't need to scan the code again.
Additionally, if you want to use eSIM on a different phone, please do not place a renewal booking, as renewal bookings do not support changing phones.

Can I still purchase your service if I have already activated an eSIM on my phone?

Yes, your phone can store multiple eSIM profiles at the same time. You can choose which one to use in your phone settings.
