Itinerary
We will pick you up at your hotel in Iquitos and then enjoy the excursion. At the pier in Iquitos, where we will board a traditional boat that will take us to visit the indigenous communities of the Amazon, it will be an unforgettable trip!

We will sail down the Itaya River and enjoy the incredible views of the exuberant nature that surrounds us. In addition, we will get to know all the particularities of the jungle landscape so characteristic of this area of South America.

After arriving at the confluence of the Itaya and Amazon rivers, we will enter the heart of the Amazon jungle. To do so, we will navigate the Nanay River, where we will visit the Bora and Kukama communities. We will get off the boat and share the experience with the members of these tribes, discovering all about their customs and traditions.

We will continue our boat ride on the Amazon River along the shore of the Padre Cocha community, where we will have the opportunity to stop again to visit the Pílpintuwasi butterfly farm, a perfect place to observe the great variety of butterflies and local animals that inhabit the jungle.

Finally, we will return to the pier in Iquitos, where we will finish the excursion five hours later.
