La Jolla: Full-Day Snorkel Gear Rental with Wetsuit Option

Located just minutes from La Jolla Cove and a short drive to La Jolla Shores, this experience allows guests to choose the best snorkeling location based on daily ocean conditions and personal comfort level.

Snorkel in protected marine areas where sea lions are commonly seen, or visit La Jolla Shores during seasonal months when leopard sharks and sea turtles are often spotted. Sea caves and coastal formations may also be visible from the water when conditions allow. This is a snorkel rental only and is ideal for guests who want the freedom to explore independently without a guided tour.

All rentals include access to lockers and changing rooms, as well as instructional videos and staff guidance on where to snorkel, how to enter the water safely, and how to decide between La Jolla Cove or La Jolla Shores. Equipment is fully sanitized and provided for full-day use.

Guests may choose from options that include snorkel gear only or snorkel gear with a wetsuit for added warmth, depending on ocean conditions and personal preference.

Important information: This is a self-guided snorkel rental, not a guided tour. Life vests are not provided and are not permitted in La Jolla Cove. All participants must know how to swim, be in good physical health, and feel comfortable in open-water ocean conditions.
