The bay is extremely dirty; bottles and chip packets—everything is floating in the bay. There's no tour program as such, and the guide doesn't explain anything about the places we visited. Not even a word about why the island is named after Titov. We found cockroaches in our room (I didn't expect to find cockroaches on a ship, but Vietnam never ceases to amaze). The food was delicious.★

The entire tour was well-connected. Although each attraction on the shore was relatively small, there was lunch on the boat, afternoon tea at sunset, opportunities to visit caves, take a bamboo raft ride, stroll on the beach, and climb mountains. The tour covered everything, making for a very enjoyable experience.★

We went on a standard one-day trip, and if you're thinking there was a catch, we were expecting one too. BUT there wasn't one; everything was perfect, from the guide to the condition of the boat. The food was a full set and everything was as expected. Yes, the seafood was mostly bland, but that's not a problem with the excursion, and in general, it's not as tasty in warm seas as in cold ones.★

I took a Halong Bay cruise tour departing from Hanoi, and it was very fulfilling and enjoyable. The guide was handsome and kind, so I was satisfied throughout the entire itinerary, and I appreciated his energetic demeanor despite the packed schedule. I marveled at the breathtaking scenery of Halong Bay, rode a snake boat, explored Sung Sot Cave, and visited Titop Beach. On the return trip, we wrapped up with a light party on board. It was a wonderful and fun experience.
