A very well-organized tour. The admin was available on WhatsApp and responded quickly to questions. The guide's contact information was provided in advance. Everything was on schedule. The guide drove carefully, making additional stops where I requested. She was professional and unobtrusive. The time flew by. Highly recommended.

This tour was worth every penny! I'd like to thank Vanessa for the wonderful experience and the detailed and engaging explanation about the history and function of all the sights. Her English was clear and understandable. She also did a great job at streaminglining the process of entering two of the most well guarded cultural sites in the world. She also lend me her powerbank when my phone was dead, which wasn't even her obligation. 11/10.

A Great Wall trip that exceeded expectations, and I'm so grateful for our wonderful tour guide! This one-day tour of the Badaling Great Wall, booked through Ctrip's self-operated platform, was truly impeccable and deserves full marks! I especially want to thank our tour guide, Ms. Sun. It was my first time booking a tour through Ctrip, and I initially thought it would just be a regular group tour. However, Ms. Sun's explanations transformed the trip into a vivid and profound history and culture lesson. Even before we reached the Great Wall, we were already captivated by Ms. Sun's explanations. Along the way, she meticulously recounted the various attractions along the route in Beijing, from ancient architecture to the alleyways, effortlessly explaining their history and context. She was incredibly energetic, and her enthusiasm immediately ignited the anticipation of everyone on the bus. At that moment, I knew this trip was going to be a success. Ms. Sun's professionalism was evident both in her extensive knowledge and her excellent pacing. Her clear and logical explanations made it easy for first-time visitors to understand, while also providing new insights for those of us interested in history. Professional yet unpretentious, meticulous yet engaging – this is perhaps the essence of a good tour guide. At the same time, I must sincerely commend the quality of Ctrip's self-operated tour. There was no rushed urging, no shopping stops, and time was truly given back to the experience and immersion. This kind of experience-centric, all-inclusive tour is indeed trustworthy. A good trip is inseparable from a good guide. The tour through the Forbidden City was fantastic. Mike, our group guide, speaks excellent English and has a wealth of knowledge. Everything was superbly prepared and well-structured; you can tell he's experienced. I wouldn't recommend visiting the Forbidden City alone, as the background information really makes the experience more impactful. The Forbidden City is huge and very popular with tourists, but the crowds are mostly well-dispersed. There was also a short break to make the four hours less tiring. Definitely worth a visit. The park was also very beautiful.
