I took my first independent trip to Osaka and Kyoto on a day tour with guide Seokbong Oh. It was my first independent trip, so I was a bit nervous, but the moment I met guide Seokbong Oh, all my nerves melted away. He was so friendly and thorough with his explanations that I couldn't sleep. He was so engaging and funny that I laughed and had a great time. When traveling without wanting to plan ahead but still wanting to see the sights, signing up for a day tour is a hassle-free option. Based on Ctrip's reputation for reliable quality, I chose their day tour this time, and it was excellent. Our tour leader, Ms. Jiang, was incredibly helpful, from informing us of the meeting point before departure to providing directions at the end. She patiently explained each attraction, and I learned a great deal from her. A huge thank you to Ms. Jiang for treating us to delicious pudding at her own expense! My trip to Osaka was wonderful, and these memories will stay with me for a long time!★

On February 6th, we visited Sanzen-in Temple, Kibune, and Arashiyama. Our tour guide was Jiang Jun (Fukuda Hiroichi), and I would give him a five-star rating! The bus was a small, clean vehicle, although the seating was quite small. But that's typical for Japanese buses, so there's not much to do about it. The departure and return times for the attractions were well-managed. The driver was very attentive and responsible in answering our questions, and driving felt very safe. Since the passengers were all quite quiet and reserved, the bus was relatively quiet with little guided tour, which I believe is understandable, as he needed to concentrate on driving. Therefore, the lack of detailed explanations of the attractions was acceptable. One thing to note is that the driver showed me the seats for the Arashiyama sightseeing train, but when we arrived, we found that the cable car was closed in winter. Please be aware of this when you go!★

The time was too short. We didn't arrive back in Osaka at the designated time (6:30 PM) as part of the program, and the driver and guide had already returned to Osaka at 5 PM! It was such a rush. We arrived at Kiyomizu-dera Temple at 12:35 PM and had to board the bus back to Osaka at 3:35 PM. We went to Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka, then to Gion, leaving us no time to visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple (3 hours with meals included). We also visited nearby areas, leaving us no time to visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple. A half-hour extra would have been perfect.
