Although I don't speak Chinese, the tour was very straightforward for me (pick-up, payment for extras, etc.). The kung fu show was the absolute highlight. It's a must-see. The tour guide was friendly, made sure no one got lost, and scheduled plenty of bathroom breaks. Excellent!★

This was a very insightful experience with lots of knowledge and stories about the grottoes and the Shaolin Temple, in an easy digestible way. We traveled over the Lunar New Year, so it was very busy, but our brilliant and friendly guide Bob made sure that we were able to catch the Kung fu show at the Shaolin Temple, which was amazing to see. A great day out to see iconic Chinese attractions.★

The Dazu Rock Carvings are a fantastic attraction. The Beishan Rock Carvings are delicate and graceful, while the Baodingshan Rock Carvings are grand and imposing. They both seem more beautiful than the Longmen Grottoes in Luoyang, making them well worth the trip. Although the driver picked us up from the hotel and took us to the distribution point where we transferred to a bus, the connection was excellent and the arrangements were very efficient. The tour guide's explanations were decent, but he was a bit impatient. If we asked another question, he would say, "Didn't I just say that? Why aren't you listening?"Trip.com Picks
