Getting to Stonehenge is a bit inconvenient, especially for those with elderly or young children. After arriving by bus, we were even more glad that we joined a tour group to go directly to the site. It would have been too cold to go in winter, and it would have been too tiring to push the stroller while waiting. We were wondering if such a long bus ride would be worth it, but thankfully we were able to visit in the end. The tour was definitely worth it!★

Well paced, delightful commentary, comfortable ride. The Cotswolds are lovely, old and historic but would otherwise be a bunch of quaint old buildings, a church, houses with small doors and cafes and shops along a Main Street. Our tour guide pointed out so many things we otherwise wouldn’t have noticed and explained the why behind what we saw. Oxford had more grandeur and significance after learning when, why and who built the university and town encompassing it. A perfect day outside London for our stay.About
