Reviews: Gwangyang Plum Blossom Maehwa Festival + Jeonju Hanok Village One Day Tour (From Seoul, 2026 Spring Limited)

This was my first time joining a day tour here with friends. We were supposed to meet at Dongdaemun at 6:10 am, but we actually arrived before 5:48 am and were all assembled by 6:03 am before setting off. The tour group consisted of people of different nationalities, with two guides. Our guide, Kim, although Korean, spoke fluent Mandarin and some Hokkien, providing bilingual (Chinese and English) explanations of historical events on the bus. The other guide was also fluent in both languages. The plum blossoms were truly beautiful. I was initially worried because I couldn't find any reviews, but there was no need to worry too much; we had a very enjoyable time. It's a good place for a quick visit, but if you want to explore at a more leisurely pace, I recommend leaving at least two or three days, as transportation to these two places isn't very convenient. Joining a day tour is much better, as they have a private driver, so you don't have to worry about getting lost, and you can easily reach the guide if you have any questions. Their travel agency also offers tours to other places, and I would definitely join again in the future.

The excursion was very enjoyable and well-organized. Our two guides, Michael and Sam, were fantastic, attentive, and shared great tips. The route, the time allotted for activities, and the breaks were all well-managed. We had a wonderful day! Thanks again to our guides! 🫰🏼🙏
