Product details

▲ The Petra Fortress, located in Georgia's Adjara region, was built in the 6th century AD and served as an important city of the Lazica Kingdom and a key Byzantine stronghold on the Black Sea. Covering 7 hectares, it features defensive walls, palaces, churches, and bathhouses. Perched on a rocky hill with strategic terrain, the fortress now has few remaining above-ground structures, yet remains highly valuable for those interested in history and medieval architecture. It's also an ideal spot to admire the stunning views of the Black Sea.

▲ The Argo Cable Car Station offers many fun attractions. Named after the Argo ship from Greek mythology, it spans 2,586 meters. Riding the cable car provides a panoramic view of Batumi's old town with its red-roofed buildings and the Black Sea coastline along the way. Upon reaching the mountaintop, visitors can enjoy Batumi's full panorama from the observation deck, gaze into the distance with telescopes, or relax and dine at "Argo Cafe" when tired. In the evenings, live band performances may also be encountered. Here, one can both admire the beautiful scenery and enjoy a leisurely time.

▲ The Holy Mother Virgin Nativity Cathedral is located in Batumi, Georgia, and was constructed between 1898 and 1903. Funded by Stepan of the Zubalashvili family in memory of his mother, the cathedral features a Neo-Gothic Revival architectural style with a magnificent exterior built from white stone and adorned with sculptures of saints at its main entrance. Its stained glass windows are exquisite, while the interior reflects traditional Georgian Orthodox style. Originally built as a Catholic church, it was later converted to an Orthodox church, making it an excellent destination to explore local religious history and architectural artistry.

▲ Batumi Europe Square was originally known as Times Square and was renamed in 1997 after the Adjara Autonomous Republic joined the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of Europe. Surrounded by 19th to 20th-century architecture, the square reflects Batumi's multicultural history, blending Georgian traditions with European and Oriental styles. Admire the Architecture & Sculptures: Marvel at the exquisitely decorated 19th-20th century buildings surrounding the square. The iconic Medea statue, holding the Golden Fleece, stands as a landmark view. Another highlight is the moving statue of Ali and Nino, depicting their legendary romantic tale.

▲ The Batumi Astronomical Clock is a local landmark that blends technology and art. Its uniquely designed clock tower features rotating planetary models at the top, which demonstrate astronomical phenomena on the hour. Inspired by the laws of cosmic motion, it serves both timekeeping and educational purposes. Visitors can observe the clock's intricate mechanisms to learn about astronomy, while the illuminated structure creates a magical atmosphere at night, making it a perfect spot for photography and experiencing the wonders of science.

▲ The Ali & Nino Statue is an iconic installation in Batumi's Europe Square, designed by Tamara Kvesitadze. The two metal sculptures depict the love story between Azerbaijani youth Ali and Georgian princess Nino. They rotate slowly each day, overlapping in an embrace before separating, symbolizing the fleeting yet eternal nature of love. Nearby, you can explore Europe Square and see the Medea Statue, stroll along the Black Sea coast to enjoy the seaside scenery, or dine at local restaurants to savor Georgian wine and cheese bread. In the evenings, musical fountain performances add a blend of romance and lively charm to the area.
