At 8:30 AM, gather in Hunchun and take a bus to Fangchuan Scenic Area, known as "The First Village of the East." Pass by the China-North Korea Quanhe Port, visit Yangguanping Embankment, and learn about the natural resources and local customs of China, North Korea, and Russia. Arrive at the tri-border area of China, North Korea, and Russia—Fangchuan Scenic Area. Located at the estuary of the Tumen River, which serves as the border between China-North Korea and North Korea-Russia, Fangchuan is just 15 kilometers from the Sea of Japan. Here, you can enjoy panoramic views of all three countries from a high vantage point. Fangchuan's unique charm lies in its distinctive geographical location and historical background. Experience the sensation of "a rooster's crow heard in three countries, a dog's bark startling three borders, flowers fragrant to four neighbors, and laughter echoing across three nations." Ascend to the top floor of the Longhu Pavilion, explore the fourth floor's Northeast Tiger Experience Hall, and visit the second floor's Fangchuan Border Defense Culture and History Exhibition Hall to reflect on the poignant history of our nation and gain deeper insights into the development of Northeast China. After the visit, proceed to the first floor of the Longhu Pavilion to see the Statue of Wu Dacheng (stay for photos and rest for about 15 minutes). Then, take a 10-minute bus ride to The First Village of the East to experience the folk customs of the Korean ethnic group in this border region. Next, travel to Tumen City, the eastern gateway of China, which faces North Korea's Namyang County across the Tumen River. Tumen Port is China's second-largest land port to North Korea. Just 200 meters from the national gate stands the China-North Korea boundary marker. Climb the Tumen Bridge for a view of the North Korean side and observe the daily life of Namyang residents. The riverside square in Tumen is lively and picturesque, and if you're lucky, you might encounter Korean seniors dancing gracefully. Here, you can also glimpse the customs of the mysterious country of North Korea from afar. After the tour, return by bus to your destination, concluding the delightful Fangchuan journey.
Note: The itinerary is arranged according to the package. For example, the Fangchuan 1-day tour does not include the Tumen itinerary. Please contact customer support in advance for specific itinerary details.
