A bit pricey for what it is. The guide tries to give a good tour and all, but as he says, it's just transportation to the sites. In the end, I paid €144 just for the transfer and then had to pay for the entrance fees there. But again, the guide was excellent, very good and friendly, always trying to make conversation and share important information.

We were fortunate to have an early start time with the roads being relatively quiet (cars and people) in the 'old' city Peter was able to guide us through his home town with relative ease. Really appreciated his love of Slovenia and the city he calls home. Peter was a great ambassador, we were a group of 6 cyclists keen to have a sense of place as we travelled and this we all felt we got with Peter as our guide. Thank-you once again Peter!

The castle is an absolute must-see if you visit Ljubljana. Perched on a hill, it towers over the city. You can reach it in several ways. There's a road leading to it, so you can drive. The tourist train also uses it and stops at the castle. There's a walking path for those who don't mind a brisk hike. Finally, there's the funicular, the cable car, which I chose to take. The castle is beautiful, and there's plenty to see and do. Of course, there are all the things you expect at a castle, but also surprising exhibitions. For refreshments, there are various venues, from a cafeteria, where the chocolate cake tasted heavenly, to a Michelin-starred restaurant. And of course, there are magnificent views. The castle is truly not to be missed.

What stood out most was his care for the group: he created a friendly atmosphere, managed time perfectly, and made sure everyone felt comfortable throughout the day. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and well-organized experience in Slovenia. 🇮🇹 Abbiamo trascorso una giornata indimenticabile grazie a Igor, la nostra guida, che ci ha accompagnati da Lubiana a Bled, al Castello di Predjama e alle Grotte di Postumia. La sua passione, competenza e chiarezza hanno reso ogni tappa speciale. Ciò che abbiamo apprezzato di più è stata l’attenzione verso il gruppo e la capacità di creare un clima piacevole e rilassato. Consigliatissimo per scoprire la Slovenia in modo autentico e ben organizzato.

I joined the Lake Bled half-day tour from Ljubljana and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The lake itself is breathtaking—peaceful, turquoise waters surrounded by mountains, with a picture-perfect island and castle. Our tour guide was amazing—super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He even helped me take some beautiful photos at the best scenic spots, which I really appreciated. It was a small group tour, which made the whole trip feel relaxed and personal. There was no rush, just time to truly enjoy the stunning views, walk around the lake, and even try the famous Bled cream cake. I also met some lovely people on the tour, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a chill and memorable trip, perfect for anyone wanting to escape the city and connect with nature. I highly recommend this tour if you’re visiting Slovenia!
