Reviews: Shanghai departure Suzhou 1-day tour Humble Administrator's Garden + Hanshan Temple + Zhouzhuang (optional private/group tour)
Guest User2026-05-10
Since I was on a tour with Chinese people, communication was difficult. The guide spoke so fast that I could barely understand anything. We had to eat at designated restaurants, and the prices were on the expensive side. Since you have to take the train directly from Shanghai, I recommend going independently rather than on a tour. Perhaps because I had high expectations for Suzhou, it wasn't much different from Suzhou, and I think Suzhou was better.
