Winter days are short and the day gets dark early, so the itinerary was quite rushed. We arrived in Hakone in the morning and didn't get to visit the art museum. We rushed to Lake Yamanaka around 3 PM to take photos of Mount Fuji with its backlighting. The driver was a Chinese woman who had lived in Japan for over 20 years. She drove steadily and chatted with us the whole way, which was very nice. It was a small group of 9 people, but that day it was just our family of 4, which was great. 👍★

This was a fun experience, but it's worth being aware that if it's windy you cannot ride the cable car. The capybara were cute and free roaming at the entrance, but the zoo is a bit small and sad looking. Many animals seem to be hungry to encourage them to interact with people who can buy food to feed them. Many nocturnal animals in lit up areas, it made me feel a bit uneasy. Our tour guide didnt speak English, I was very lucky I had people who spoke Chinese who relayed the day to me.★

Our Mount Fuji tour was absolutely fantastic! We stopped at several scenic locations, each offering amazing photo opportunities. Taking advantage of my free time, I joined a day trip to the Fuji Mt. Outlet Mall, and our tour guide, Anna Hayashida, was absolutely amazing! Her explanations were incredibly detailed, and she had a thorough understanding of the attractions and shopping information. Throughout the trip, she was witty and humorous, effortlessly cracking jokes that kept everyone laughing. Under her guidance, the trip was exceptionally relaxing, enjoyable, and unforgettable!★

The spots we visited were gorgeous. Our guide Evita spoke excellent English and was very informative. We got to see mt Fuji so we were lucky cause this is the low season
