For any traveler seeking a deep and seamless cultural experience, this tour is a top-tier choice. The organization was impeccable, with a perfectly paced itinerary that comfortably covered all advertised sites at both Qingcheng Mountain (青城山) and the Dujiangyan (都江堰), beginning with a perfectly timely hotel pickup. The guide system was particularly effective; we had a dedicated English-speaking guide whose passion and deep knowledge brought the history of the region to life. She didn't just show us ancient sites - she connected the ingenious principles of the 2,000-year-old irrigation system directly to its vital role in Sichuan today, which was fascinating. A crucial piece of advice: ensure you have WeChat installed. Our guide used a chat to align the hotel pickup and share route details. An absolutely first-class, educational, and enjoyable day.★

The tour package included a visit to Mount Qingcheng and the Dujiangyuen area, with the "Blue Tears" option, all with a private English-speaking guide. The car, driver, and English-speaking guide were all excellent. The program's shortcomings included incorrect information about the included tickets for the locations (the guide purchased separate tickets at the entrance to each of the two locations, costing 240 yuan each) and a poorly planned route up Mount Qingcheng (we weren't informed about the availability of a cable car to the top of the mountain; we were immediately advised to hike up; a route with a cable car up and then back down would have been much more comfortable).★

The tour guide is very nice and the driver was patient and accommodating. We skipped Yangtianwo but I didn't mind it too much. It was nice to do a lot in one day. The opera is just so-so but nice to have the experience.★

I booked a local tour through Ctrip. There was no shopping throughout the trip, and it was a private car. I was fortunate to meet our guide, Xiao Kang, who arranged the itinerary reasonably, making it comfortable and not tiring. He was professional and patiently explained everything in detail, allowing us to gain a deep understanding of the history and culture of Dujiangyan. We were also very lucky to see many adorable pandas eating and playing in Panda Valley. We also enjoyed Sichuan opera face-changing and blue tears performances, which brought the trip to a perfect end. I sincerely thank Guide Kang and the driver. Five stars all around!★
