wonderful experience with Getaways Greece. Excellent communication between tour company, tour guide and ourselves. Debbie our tour guide and Patti, our museum guide were very knowledgeable, and articulate. Patti & Debbi were entertaining and funny with stories behind every exhibit. Our small group consisted of ten people, Debbi had a small quiz on the bus which was fun and made for a very entertaining trip from start to finish. Transportation was very comfortable and spacious. Every stop on the tour was worth it. Nafplio was especially breath taking. Overall, great tour, great price and great pace. highly recommend. (mother/daughter trip 10/8/2025).★

Our guide George was a fountain of information and learning, and my spouse and I loved conversing with him on our way thru ancient Corinth and Mycenae, and the coastal town of Nafpoli. The lunch spot he chose was also fantastic and had reasonable prices for seafood lovers. Highly recommend!
Our one regret was not getting a picture with George before the day was done!★

We joined the Plato Philosophy Workshop as a group of friends and family (ages 14–74), and it was honestly the best thing we did in Athens! The experience was engaging, thought-provoking, and fun—we learned, philosophized, and connected with each other on a whole new level. Our guide was absolutely incredible: knowledgeable, inspiring, and full of warmth and humor. The interactive discussions made ancient philosophy come alive. Highly recommended for anyone looking for something truly meaningful and memorable in Athens!★

We had a great morning tour discovering Athens with Maria-Katerina. It was just our family (2 adults, 2 teens) and Maria-Katerina did a wonderful job orienting us to Athens and explaining much of the history that shaped Athens into the city it is today. We ventured through the central neighbourhoods in Athens and learned how they evolved into what they are today. Overall a lovely experience with a wonderful tour guide.★

The scenery was absolutely stunning, exceeding my expectations! The itinerary went very smoothly. Although the travel time was quite long, there were restroom breaks and mealtimes along the way. The tour guide provided clear explanations and was very nice. It was a wonderful day trip experience!
