Wonderful Chinese female guides were provided along the route; we communicated seamlessly through a translator! A surprise included a sumptuous lunch! Fantastic towns with their own unique culture! The itinerary was quite flexible. The tour guide called ahead to meet us at the cable car station. We stayed in a guesthouse across the alley from the cable car station, a three-minute walk away. Everyone arrived and we started climbing the mountain. Along the way, we experienced various modes of transportation, including cable car, car, elevator, cable car again, and bus, making it a truly painless climb. The tour guide was a local and very enthusiastic, making it a relaxing and enjoyable trip. Tianmen was magnificent.★
