Hugo was a great guide! I truly enjoyed my tour with him. He shared a lot of things about the history of the city of San Salvador that I found quite interesting and informative. I could have done without the extended tour of the new library (solely bc there is nothing country specific about it) but the rest of the tour was very well balanced.

Best tour ever! Our guide David was amazing! So dynamic, funny, and engaging, drawing on his extensive experience as a Salvadoran. He explained everything about the country: history, politics, economy, education, healthcare system, and more. We got a complete three-hour lecture on El Salvador!

Francisco picked us up at our hotel and then took us to a wonderful restaurant overlooking San Salvador with great pupusas. Then we went into the city and explored San Salvador. Iglesia de Rosario was breathtaking and the library was definitely a special place. Francisco was knowledgeable, friendly, and a great guide. A great experience that I would definitely recommend!!!


