A huge thank you to Séverine for this tour of the Forbidden City. Séverine is very professional, her directions to the meeting point were crystal clear, she is very attentive, and she anticipates her clients' needs. She speaks perfect French and has a deep understanding of Chinese civilization, which she conveys with great clarity. The tour impressed us with the richness of the monuments and the details provided by Séverine, which brought them to life. Thank you again to Séverine and the team for allowing us to return home filled with wonder.
Reviews: "Beijing's Must-See Wonder –Summer Palace E-Tickets: Instant QR Code Entry & Skip-the-Line Access"

We visited the Summer Palace in early March 2026. A trip.com QR code arrived in our email the day before. No additional registration was required. There was no line at the entrance, and we walked in without any problems. The grounds are very large, beautiful, and well-maintained. We took the metro. We didn't use the audio guide, so I've rated it so as not to lower my score.

Touring the Summer Palace with Professor Chen Yi, the "Top Scholar in Beijing," every scene becomes a vivid history lesson. Looking at the marble boat, Professor Chen explains how it embodies the ingenious design of Emperor Qianlong, who believed it could neither be submerged by water nor burned by fire. Gazing at the Seventeen-Arch Bridge, she details the wondrous spectacle of "golden light piercing through the arches" during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Climbing the Tower of Buddhist Incense, she analyzes the architectural wisdom and imperial beliefs embedded in the layered buildings. Through Professor Chen's exposition, the ripples of Kunming Lake and the soaring eaves of the ancient buildings become a fingertip glimpse into Qing Dynasty history and garden art, transforming the visit into an immersive journey of cultural discovery.

Our tour guide, Lily, was very thoughtful and quickly grasped our needs. She told very interesting stories and was an excellent photographer. We will definitely hire her again next time we come here. Thank you!
