Diego was out tour guide. We had people from several different tour groups. We drove a distance to see the Peninsula. We were taken to several different spots to see large colony of Sea Lions, large colony of Elephant seals… all from a great distance in which binoculars or zoom lens is recommended. We saw a small village and animals living in the Patagonia dry area of the Peninsula. Due to the time of the year- no penguins. We stopped for lunch and extended time at the elephant seal location- over 2 hours( longer than most guests liked), we had a flat tire. Diego and Carlos fixed it in 15 minutes. People were upset at the tour director but he did as he advised us at the beginning of the tour. I think the tour companies advised guests that they would see different things like penguins- except this is not the season. Diego did a great job, well intended . Check your tours and what to expect.

This fantastic and exciting excursion exceeded our expectations. The unique animal encounters with the penguins and guanacos will stay with us forever and always bring a smile to our faces. We highly recommend it.
