We were part of a 20 people group and the focus was on cental area. The guide was knowledgeable and helpful. At some point we decided to explore the side areas on our own. It’s quite hot and the place is huge, better take an umbrella with you.★

Reviews: Half-day tour of the Forbidden City, Beijing | Group tour with intensive Chinese/English/Russian instruction available [Admission included]

Fortunately, we elderly folks had hired a tour guide and rented electric wheelchairs, making our three-hour tour of the Forbidden City very efficient and comfortable. The tour guide was incredibly patient and took great care of the elderly. His explanations were also very engaging. The weather was exceptionally nice yesterday, and everyone had a great time without feeling too tired.★

Reviews: 3-hour in-depth guided tour to the palace museum in Beijing, includes admission ticket, private tour for one family
Guest User2026-10-31
Our whole family booked a private small group guided tour of the Forbidden City. The experience with our personal guide was excellent. Our guide, Mr. Yang, was professional and attentive. He suggested we go early, and indeed, there were fewer tourists, making the experience much better. We had a relaxed and enjoyable time exploring the Forbidden City. It was a worthwhile and enjoyable trip, and I highly recommend it!★

I was so lucky to meet Teacher Fan. Her explanations were never dry or filled with apocryphal history. She carefully explained the stories behind each building and cultural relic, making for a great visit. I'll definitely choose Teacher Fan again next time!★

Reviews: Forbidden City/The Palace Museum Small Group Walking Tour with Admission Ticket
Guest User2026-07-04
Yoyo was an exceptional guide throughout our trip. Her kindness, patience, and attention to detail made every moment comfortable and enjoyable. She explained Chinese culture, history, and local customs in such a clear and engaging way that it became very easy for us to understand and appreciate China more deeply. We were especially grateful for her thoughtful care and willingness to help with every question we had. Thanks to Yoyo, our experience felt authentic, meaningful, and unforgettable. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to learn about Chinese culture .
