Easy booking process through trip.com. You are only allowed to pass the gantry 30 minutes before your train departs. There is a ticket vending machine right outside the gantry. Clear directions signs in Seoul Station. Train is clean and comfy, a quick and inexpensive way to get to Incheon airport from Seoul station.★

We loved it. Seoul is a very big city and perfect for a first tour. The only thing we didn't like was the long lines of tourists waiting to board the bus at the stops. It's probably better to choose a weekday rather than Sunday, as was the case for us.★

I had already decided to take the bus, but after arriving and waiting for my luggage, I thought I might find something on trip.com and made a reservation. It was about 5% cheaper, and I also used points. A QR code is issued immediately, and if you're at Terminal 1, you can exchange it for a ticket at the manned counter next to Exit 6.★

I always make reservations when I travel to Korea. Since it's a voucher, after purchasing it, you can either exchange it for a train ticket and seat on the Arex website, or print it out at a local kiosk on the day of travel.
If you know your schedule, it's best to book in advance. Be careful, as tickets might be sold out if you exchange it on the day or at the last minute!
If you ask the attendant who comes around the carriage for water, you'll receive a bottle of water.
