Our tour was relaxing, allowing us to appreciate the region's tranquil lifestyle. Jennifer, a local Naxi, shared comprehensive insights into the local minority culture, Naxi life, their interactions with the Bi people, and the history of the Tea Horse Road, enriching our understanding of Shaxi's heritage. Upon our return to Lijiang, Jennifer arranged a tea ceremony and visits to a local Naxi restaurant and supermarket, allowing us to enjoy local tea and foods, offering a rare glimpse into Naxi culture. Jennifer’s expertise, thoughtful planning, and personal touches made our tour incredibly memorable. We highly recommend her for exploring Shaxi and beyond. The grandeur of Tiger Leaping Gorge is a must-see. Napa Lake doesn't show its full beauty in winter, but the prayer flags offer stunning photo opportunities. It's highly recommended to prepare for altitude sickness beforehand and take Rhodiola rosea in advance. Make sure to eat a good breakfast, as the journey is long. Our guide and driver were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering helpful suggestions and providing excellent explanations – five stars!

Excellent experience. All the communication was very clear from reservation to the end of the tour. The driver and van were excellent as well. Cindy was an excellent and very experienced local guide. We booked a private tour, and she planned our route and itinerary according to our departure time. She showed us the train arriving and departing from the station, which was so interesting! Then we went straight to the floating market, arriving on time without missing a beat. She even helped us queue and found a less crowded stall to eat at in the bustling market. Finally, she arranged time for us to experience elephant riding according to our wishes! Thank you, Cindy!
