Join a 1 day tour to SML. Our guide(Allan) was on time n also he waited for 1 solo tourist which was past e 5mins.waiting allowance. Eventually we hv to leave without him/her. Drove to SML in a van n reached SML ard 11plus n spent ard 4 hours there. Due to time constraints wet weather,did not visit Wenxu temple.He was nice and took photos for all member of e group n even used his camera to take individual photos of us. I traveled with 1 of my friends and we leave e group without following back to Taipei n he dropped us at e bus station. It was a nice experience in SML.

Our driver, Brother Zeng, was incredibly dedicated and responsible, and his driving skills were excellent! I usually get carsick, but this time I didn't experience any motion sickness or discomfort at all. He provided thorough explanations of the sights and constantly encouraged us to take photos, haha. He even had a pretty complete set of photography equipment, showing a real commitment to getting great shots for his customers, haha! I highly recommend joining a small group tour; they pick you up and drop you off at your hotel, which is perfect for solo travelers!!

I had a great time today. The schedule was well-planned, and I'm grateful to our guide, Xiao Yi, for taking such good care of us and recommending many delicious restaurants. Her photography skills are also excellent. We managed to visit Sun Moon Lake and Gaomei Wetlands in one day. I highly recommend the Wenwu Temple (very close to Sun Moon Lake), it's truly magnificent. Mitsui Outlet Mall has many brand-name stores and restaurants, and it's very popular with locals, perfect for shopping enthusiasts. If you're not interested in shopping, you can ride the Ferris wheel at the harbor. Be sure to dress warmly as it can be windy by the sea.


