We had a fantastic half-day city tour with Steve and highly recommend it. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and truly brought Wellington to life. His insights into the city’s history and culture were engaging and informative, and he answered all our questions with enthusiasm. A great way to see and understand Wellington — highly recommend

Annie (hope I spelled it right) was a great guide, she had to deal with a party of 18 (noisy , distracting and generally a pain) and she handled them poise and professionalism . Great job. Made the experience great for the rest of the attendees. Thanks

Transport is a comfortable mini bus. our guide, Dixie was amazing, really passionate about her subject. This tour is well worth the money even if you're not a Lord of the Rings fan, it's well explained. The Weta workshop was really interesting.

Suzee planned the perfect half day+ tour of Wellington. She made excellent choices for our short stay and her narration of the city spot on. After the tour, our group of 4 friends was planning to dine at Shed 5 and Suzee convinced us to have a casual lunch with her of meat pies and cheese scones. Both Wellington staples. WOW! Yummy and her café choice along the beach front was perfect. Suzee is an excellent guide and representative of Wellington. We so enjoyed our time with. Whether staying in Wellington or just have a short cruise stop, I highly recommend this tour.
Reviews: Seal Coast Safari - Exclusive access to Wellington's secret coast

Booked with the Seal Coast Safari as they were highly recommended and I must say it's a well-earned reputation! Chewy was super responsive and accommodating and went the extra mile to cater to our requests. Also due to family engagements some from our group were unable to make it at the very last minute and Chewy and his team were kind enough to refund us. We had Blue as our guide and he kept us entertained throughout the drive and at the coast. Blue was super informative and for nature lovers like ourselves, it was a really enjoyable learning experience! The botanical garden was beautiful and view throughout the drive was amazing! We saw many many sheep and cows and drove past the wind turbines. Highlight of the day was of course seeing the fur seals! We managed to see at least 20-30 of them in their natural habitat! Once in a lifetime experience :) I was anxious about the anticipated bumpy ride as my 70+ year old dad has a bad back, but Blue made the drive so pleasant, and the 4wd was surprisingly comfy! Dad had no complaints. I'd definitely recommend doing this when in Wellington, and booking with the Seal Coast Safari team! Thank you Chewy, Blue, and team!
