I wasn't expecting much and just wanted to kill some time, having booked the night before. But! It was truly fantastic, the service was excellent! I left my power bank in the car, and the travel agency arranged for a driver to bring it to my hotel—so thoughtful!

The person we contacted by phone was Chinese and very easy to communicate with. The service was excellent. The driver picked us up at the hotel and gave us a tour of Muscat on the way. He even stopped at the entrance of the Sultan's Palace for us to take photos. The scenery on the boat was beautiful, and we went snorkeling at two islands, where there were many dolphins and turtles. It was an amazing experience.

We highly recommend a tour with Khalid! We had very little time in Oman and he gave us a wonderful glimpse into this country's history, heritage and culture. Despite the itinerary being fairly packed, Khalid was patient and didn't rush us once - instead he prioritised the most important locations (Nizwa and Jebel Shams). He was kind, respectful and very knowledgeable. His driving was safe and he was clearly experienced with the zig-zaggy roads leading up to the breath-taking viewpoint on Jebel Shams.

I booked this trip directly with Star Tours Oman via email. The communication went easily and correctly. The old town of Nizwa was very beautiful. There was plenty of time to visit the souk, to taste a dozen kinds of dates, and to visit the Nizwa Fort. In the afternoon we visited Fort Bahla and Fort Jabrin. These two forts were recently restored and are very beautiful. I cannot thank my guide Ali enough for the effort he made to make this trip unforgettable.
